KATE & Avene

I have always been fond of gel/cream eyeshadows, especially the soft applications. Saw the new gel eye shadow from KATE and gotten 2 colors. There were 8 colors (white, 2 different browns, grey, gold, purple, blue & pink ) I really wanted to get a brown for my love of earth tones and stopped myself as I really got too many of those tones. But I can't resist and gotten one in gold and grey.
The texture is kinda of jelly-like and pretty glittery.

Exams really gives my skin problems with all the late nights and stress. I rely on Avene products to help my skin recover and thereafter balance up. Stocked up on some products I during the 20% discount .
The one on the left is the Soothing Moisture mask and it is good at subsiding the redness. I apply it after my tiner and let it sit for 15 mins before tissuing off the excess. I then spray my face with Avene Thermal Water as recommended and the skin feels so good.
The other item is the Skin Recovery Cream, it doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin and calms down the irritations. Texture is creamy and pretty light for a moisturiser, however on days when I have dry patches, I need something heavier. Hence, I do not think it is suitable for super dry skin. This is used by me on bad skin days, when irritations kicks in and it always make it better.
Gotten the Thermal Water(150ml) at a 20% and though it was a great deal, only to realise that there was a bundle set which is much cheaper else where. I use the Thermal water quite often hence I got the bundle set as well. There are alot of usage for the thermal water - Setting of make up/ Refreshing & calming of skin/ After sun usage/ Post shaving or epilating care & etc.
I use it mainly for calming of skin for it's very soothing and gives an extra kick of moisture without feeling sticky.
Happy with the stock up as these really save my skin during the bad days.

  2. i used to Avene lots when i was younger! maybe i shd revisit it. it's a good brand.
my skin is dry, so i found TBS creamy scrubs good. they are not drying. so maybe they are still too oily for you. i'm not sure if they've changed the formulations, as i didn't use much TBS scrubs years ago (not sure why).
