Review: Etude house whitening range

Remember the time I got hold of the Etude house whitening range? I have to admit I do not use it regularly due to some reasons. Blair requested for the review and hope it helps anyone who is interested. :D

Toner IngredientsToner:
It is like our usual toner which is of clear liquid. It works well on dry/combination skin as the after-feel a little sticky when too much is applied. I prefer a refreshing or soothing feel, although this toner contains alcohol, it does not have the very refreshing or cooling feel to the skin.

Essence

Essence:
I really do not like this essence, the smell is overpowering and it can only be smell very obviously when put on the face. It didn’t smell so strong when I tried it on my hands at the store. The texture is smooth and absorbs nicely into the skin but I really cannot stand it on my face for long. Chokes me and my nose. This is one of the main reasons why I do not use this range often.

Capsule Cream

Capsule Cream :
The texture of this is gel-like nothing close to a cream, it is nice when placed in the fridge and used cold. It contains little blue bits which is supposed to be vitamin E capsule and supposed to be massage along with the gel across the face. It plumps up the skin and the after feel is initially sticky but after awhile, it gets absorbed better.

I will not buy this range again mainly due to the scent factor which I really cannot get over or stand. The scent from the essence is the most overpowering among all the products and I am trying to finish it up by using on my legs which has minor scars. I do not see very significant whitening effects, maybe cause I do not use it regularly. This range is either more suitable for dry skin as the texture though isn't thick, it takes awhile to be absorbed by oily skin or it simply does not get absorbed nicely by the skin. The after feel for the range is not to die for, kinda of sticky which I absolutely dislike.

When tried on the hands in the stores is very different from having it on our skin, especially our face. Rarely tries the products on our face when we are out as we often have makeup on already. This is my personal experience and review on this range, might work well for others but I am disappointed that it didn't especially after the good results from the wash off mask.
