Covermark Deep Cleansing Oil

For now, I think I have found my HG cleansing oil.

Covermark Deep Cleansing Oil

What I like about this oil cleanser

-Lightly Scented, almost floral
-2 pumps is all I need for the whole face
-Consistency is runnier as compared to Fancl's and yet spreads all over the face nicely
-No blurred vision
-Does not give my sensitive skin problems
-Removes all the makeup, including the waterproof mascara

There is 3 sizes available for the cleansing oil (120ml/210ml/420ml) & I think it is good for one to start with the smallest to see how well it works.

The SA said double cleansing is not necessary after using this cleansing oil however I have the habit to follow up with my face cleanser.

This is one cleansing oil which makes me happy when removing my makeup and until I find another one which I like better, it is my current HG.

Lovin Lashes

New year is around the corner and I happened to be packing my room, only to realise that I have a stash of mascara. Mostly brand new and untouch since purchase, even the plastic seals are all intact. Only then I remembered that I went through a period of mascara craze late last year.

Part of mini mascara collection

One of my favourite volumizing mascara would be from Lancome called Hypnose (Waterproof). I love how intense the black is and it makes my tiny lashes looks much much fuller with clumping. For a cheaper alternative, Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo(Waterproof) is a good choice for less than half the price of Hypnose.

Pictures of the mascaras, taken from both the website of the above brands
( Sorry no actual pictures as my camera is giving me a hard time to take clear close up pictures of both the mascaras)

For longer lashes, I alternate between Anna Sui's Long Lash and Canmake Glamourous Fur Mascara. Both the mascaras can help create the dramatic effect that look like fake lashes. It is actually good to apply another coat of mascara on the tips of your lashes when you want the lashes to be longer instead of the entire length of lashes for you might causing your curls to fall with the heavy application. To prevent clumping, it is imperative to wiggle the mascara wand slightly when you are nearly the end of your lashes.

Get the most out of your mascaras by

-Powdering under the eye before applying mascara. Prevents smudges due to oily cream or concealers.

-Not pumping the wand in and out of the tube. It increases air inside the tube causing the mascara to dry out faster than supposed to.

-Not waiting for the first one coat of mascara to be totally dry before you apply the next as it will cause clumps.

I am still searching for a good eyelash curler for my super stubborn lashes!
