♥ 日本.夏.2010 ♥ Day 7

Day 7

We got a call early in the morning from the front desk, 松本san came over specially to pass us tickets to a

baseball game & it came with a little pleasant surprise!

カステラ (Castella)

It was a great way to start the day, a slice each for the both of us before heading out.

松本san asked us the other day if there is any sports in particular that we like and the BF mentioned that I like baseball.

Right away  松本san picked up his mobile to make a call to his friend & ta-dah, tickets to a 'live' game!

He said most of the tickets are sold out, especially the good ones.

読売ジャイアンツ!

(Yomiuri Giants)

We had our lunch nearby the hotel before heading to Tokyo Dome where the game is held.

This ramen is pretty good, the soup stock is rich and the noodles were springy.

The BF had the dry ramen with dipping soup, this was pretty good as well though the soup was a little too salty.

We decided to go a couple of hours earlier than the starting time of the game to watch the teams warm up.

There were already quite a number of people outside Tokyo Dome buying Giants merchandises & a long queue of people buying tickets.

The weather was really hot.

We walked around for awhile & started queuing up to entry the Tokyo Dome Stadium.

The roller coaster was right in front of me when I was queuing & I really wanted to get a ride on it later.

The stadium is huge & was pretty much empty.

The opponent team (Dragons) were warming up.

More & more people entered the stadium.

It was turn for Giants to warm up.

The game for the day.

The Giants' supporters stand.

The game was starting & there was a cute little cheering dance by the Giants mascots, Team Venus & some of the audiences.

One of the girls selling beer, this girl selling Kirin beer in particular is cute.

The game started!

The stadium was indeed really packed.

The game was pretty intensive as the scores were really close.

The game went on till the last inning & it was a tie, so the game was extended.

4 - 4

And finally Sakamoto strike a home run! Bringing the the score up to 7 - 4!

坂本 勇人 !!!

The crowd went crazy & we were surrounded by cheers & applauses.

Giants won the game & it was a wonderful ending to the game, we were rooting for Giants!

It was almost midnight by the time we got back to the hotel & we were both really tired, went straight to bed after washing up.

Till Day 8.
